Acting Courses in South West France
Join us in the exotic setting of the Bordeaux wine-growing region
for a week long residential acting and singing intensive.
Develop as an actor/singer in this dynamic and beautiful
environment

This unique training is led by theatre experts and culminates
in a performance in front of a local audience.

Jude runs courses three/four times a year
in February, May, June and September.
Explore method-based scene study, games, audition techniques, accent
reduction, mask work and Jude's own physical/emotional work: Emotional
Mobility. We also present a short piece at the end of the course.
Jude takes eight students maximum. Full board plus 5 hours tuition per
day, with time to study and relax in between. Delicious food prepared by
Christine the housekeeper - which is mainly locally sourced.

Jude aims for her students to fast track into the industry with her own
methods of focus, bravery and transformation.
This is a chance for the actor to learn from a specialist, who has thousands of touring miles behind her and has developed her own highly original theatre. Jude Alderson has earned her place as an important innovator in European theatre.

We shall stay and rehearse in a rambling C19th chateau with old world shabby chic style!

She also runs regular group sessions in audition technique, screen skills,
song interpretation & classical and contemporary text.
